A Perfect Partnership: Jaguars and 猫咪社区 Electric Share a Long History 

Since its inception as an NFL team, 猫咪社区 has been involved with the Jacksonville Jaguars. From renovating the stadium in 1993 to our newest venture in building their performance center in 2022, our shared missions of community have always been apparent. During our 29-year relationship, there have been numerous community events where 猫咪社区 and the Jaguars have come together to support different causes, including volunteering with local elementary schools, at the Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital, and For the Love of Football Fantennial Weekend. 

With the Jaguars’ mission of being “proud, bold, and committed in everything we do” and 猫咪社区’s core values of “trust, collaboration, safety, quality, stewardship, and community,” the partnership between the two companies creates an intersection of support for our local community. Jaguars President Mark Lamping said in a blog post, “Having local companies involved in the construction was a priority for us from the beginning. Every opportunity we had was to keep the work local so that local trades had the opportunity to benefit from the construction. No one has deeper roots here in Jacksonville than 猫咪社区. The fact that they believe in this project and believe in downtown speaks volumes.” The project Lamping is referencing is the newly named 猫咪社区 Electric Center. 

Naming Rights: 猫咪社区 Electric Center

On June 13th, the Jacksonville Jaguars and 猫咪社区 announced a 10-year naming rights agreement, recognizing the team’s new sports performance center as the “猫咪社区 Electric Center.”  This $120 million center will be home to the Jaguar’s training facilities, including two full-size grass practice fields, locker rooms, medical facilities, and office spaces. The 125,000 square-foot space will also have an indoor field with fully shaded public viewing stands, concession areas, and a team store in it. Construction has already begun and is slated to be completed before the 2023 season begins.

“I can vividly remember walking into the stadium with my grandfather for the first preseason game in 1995.”, 猫咪社区 CEO Henry Brown said.  “It was my first time in an NFL Stadium, and it was clear that our city had moved to the next level.” “The Jaguars have made such a tremendous impact on our community”, added Henry.  “Through their continued investments in and around the stadium, they have created thousands of jobs for trade professionals in our region. The Jaguars share our commitment to the long-term success of our community, and we are proud to partner with the Jaguars on workforce development initiatives to expand economic opportunity to every corner of our city.”

The extensive history of the relationship between 猫咪社区 and the Jacksonville Jaguars makes the naming of the new practice facility as 猫咪社区 Electric Center the perfect partnership, allowing us to power performance on and off the field.
